One of the week’s notable virtual events is “Trailblazers in Conversation with Mychal Threets,” featuring former Solano County librarian and TikTok influencer Mychal Threets.
With a sizable online following, Threets embodies the spirit of “library joy,” captivating audiences with his passion for literature and knowledge-sharing. His collaboration with PBS underscores the innovative ways libraries harness digital platforms to reach diverse audiences.
Friends of the Library Book Sales:
Many branches will host Friends of the Library Book Sales, offering enticing deals on a range of media, including books, DVDs, and music.
These sales provide access to affordable resources and support the library’s mission by generating revenue for future programs and initiatives.
