After its debut in China, Huawei confirms the arrival of the Pura 70 series in the EU market, featuring the Pura 70, Pura 70 Pro, and Pura 70 Ultra. Preorders start on May 2, with prices ranging from 999 euros to 1,499 euros.

Camera-Centric Design:

Continuing the tradition of its predecessor, the Huawei P60, the Pura 70 series focuses on photography prowess, showcasing a distinctive triangular camera arrangement.

The Huawei Pura 70 boasts a 50MP primary camera, a 13MP ultrawide camera, and a 12MP telephoto camera. The Pura 70 Pro and Ultra elevate the camera capabilities further, featuring enhanced megapixel counts and advanced telephoto sensors.

Innovative Features of Pura 70 Ultra:

The flagship Pura 70 Ultra stands out with a superfast shutter capturing objects in motion at up to 300 kilometers per hour. It also introduces a retractable lens for improved focus and durability, tested for up to 300,000 retraction cycles.

While all models offer similar hardware specifications, there are slight differences in screen size, resolution, and battery capacity. The Pro and Ultra models also feature higher refresh rates and charging speeds compared to the base Pura 70.

Advanced Features:

All three models are IP68 water and dust-resistant, support wireless charging, and run on EMUI 14.2. However, the Pro and Ultra models offer enhanced charging capabilities with 100W SuperCharge wired and 80W wireless charging.

The Pura 70 Pro+ will not be available in the European market. Huawei’s absence in the U.S. market persists due to regulatory challenges that limit its availability in certain regions. Despite these limitations, Huawei’s latest offerings are anticipated to be highly desirable for consumers in accessible markets.
