SKINPOEM: Inclusive and Affordable Skincare That Works

Expanding skincare brand, SKINPOEM, founded by Chin Simpson during COVID-19 has always hoped to make skincare more inclusive. Chin founded her brand when she noticed how much pain her brother’s skin condition, psoriasis, was causing him. She created SKINPOEM with hopes of helping her brother as well as others with similar skin conditions and dry skin.

SKINPOEM also adds a personal touch to each product by including poems and affirmations for users to read during their skincare routine. These thoughtful poems remind everyone that “good skin” is not necessarily unblemished, but rather loved and cared for as it recovers. Skin Poem shows each user that they matter, by encouraging self-care and kind-living.
It’s no wonder that SKINPOEM would tackle inclusivity on all levels, not just skin conditions. Regardless of age, sex, and race, SKINPOEM products are made to take care of your skin. These gentle and high-quality products can be used by everyone, from children to the elderly.

SKINPOEM was built on healing one’s relationship with their skin, in both a literal and metaphorical sense. Each product aids in healing skin impacted by different skin conditions in addition to containing a unique verse of poetry containing affirmations and positive messages. In addition, all products are FDA-approved, ethically sourced, and high-quality, and Chin tries her best to make them as affordable as possible. The brand uses high-quality ingredients to help ease the effects of painful skin conditions and dry skin.
The SKINPOEM line currently has six products, and Chin is not interested in expanding the product line right now. Focused on quality over quantity, the brand sticks to its philosophy of gentle and unhurried products that work rather than releasing many products. Each product takes months to develop, as the team tests and retests to make sure products deliver as promised. SKINPOEM has also collaborated with top dermatologists and chemists in order to formulate products that are specifically for dry, sensitive, and/or inflamed skin.

Chin, her team, and her family, including her kids, all enjoy SKINPOEM products as well. Chin believes in creating and releasing good quality products that she enjoys using as well, in order to keep her brand as authentic as possible.

Some standout products from the SKINPOEM line are the Collagen and Colloidal Oatmeal Soap, StarGlow Youth Vitality Essence With JuventideTM, and the Suncream SPF50 UVA/UVB Broad Spectrum Defence. The Oatmeal soap recently won an award in local magazines for being the best soap as it can be used all over the body. The oatmeal calms skin, making it the ideal soap for everyone including young children. The StarGlow Youth Vitality Essence uses the rare and high-quality coelomic fluid from Starfishes to support skin rejuvenation. Finally, Sunscreen is a very important step in every skincare routine, and the SKINPOEM Suncream is perfect. This lightweight, non-greasy, and fast absorbing formula is combined with Mandarin Orange extract to ensure the skin stays hydrated all day.
After a successful 2023, there is a lot to look forward to in 2024. Chin Simpson and SKINPOEM are excited to continue expanding the reach of the brand. Sticking to their roots, SKINPOEM hopes to continue helping anyone struggling with dry skin with their products, poetry, and gentle philosophy.
